Phase 01 of 05
Measure
We agree the questions your buyers ask, by stage and market, and run them across the major assistants. Every answer and every cited source is saved with a date, so there is a baseline to beat.
Get named when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews. We measure what AI says about you, fix the reasons it gets you wrong, and re-check every month.
Marketing & media01 / The problem
Most teams know something is off. Fewer can name the constraint holding growth back.
Buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews for a shortlist, and the answer arrives already written. If you are not in it, there is no second page to scroll to.
A page-one ranking no longer guarantees a visit. For one client, a single top-three ranking earned more than 40,000 impressions and zero clicks, because the answer was given on the results page.
Assistants often describe a business from third-party profiles, not its own website. If a directory has your team size, services or location wrong, that is what gets repeated.
Plenty of agencies added AI search to their service list this year without measuring anything. You cannot fix an answer nobody has recorded.

03 / How it runs
5 phases, in order. Pick one to see what happens in it.
Phase 01 of 05
We agree the questions your buyers ask, by stage and market, and run them across the major assistants. Every answer and every cited source is saved with a date, so there is a baseline to beat.
Phase 02 of 05
Each missing or wrong answer is traced to a cause: a blocked crawler, a page with no direct answer, an outdated profile the engine trusts, or no credible source that mentions you.
Phase 03 of 05
We correct your facts where the engines read them, rewrite the key pages answer-first, add structured data, and publish evidence an assistant can quote.
Phase 04 of 05
We pitch your data and expert commentary to the publications, directories and comparison lists the engines already cite for your category.
Phase 05 of 05
Every month we re-run the same questions and report what changed, including what did not. Answers vary from run to run, so we report ranges, not one screenshot.

We measured thirteen competing websites for AI search readiness on 1 August 2026 and re-checked them on 12 August. One published an llms.txt, eight had no structured data, and the only site restricting an AI crawler was one we built.

We re-analysed 18,151 cited pages across ChatGPT, Google and Perplexity. Relevance, structure and evidence were associated with deeper use, but they are not magic ranking factors.

Book a free auditAnswer engine optimization is the work of making your business part of the answer AI assistants give. Where SEO ranks a page in a list of links, AEO aims to get you named, cited or recommended inside the answer that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot or Google’s AI Overviews writes.
They overlap. SEO earns rankings in search results. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) are two names for the same goal: appearing in AI-written answers. AEO rests on SEO foundations such as crawlable pages, clear content and credible links, and adds work SEO rarely covers: entity accuracy across third-party sources, measurement at the level of individual prompts, and mentions on the sites the engines cite.
There is no switch to flip. When ChatGPT searches, it draws on pages it can retrieve and on what credible sources say about you. So its crawlers must be able to reach your site, your key facts must be stated plainly there and match every profile and directory, you need material worth quoting, and you need mentions on the sites it already cites for your category. Then you measure the same questions again.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. AI answers change from one run to the next, and the engines do not publish how they choose sources. What we commit to is measurement: a dated baseline, a clear account of why you are missing, the fixes, and a monthly re-run that shows what changed.
Some fixes show within weeks: an unblocked crawler, a corrected profile, a page that finally answers the question directly. Earning mentions and changing how the engines describe you takes months, and depends on your category and how much has already been written about you. We agree which questions to track before work starts and report against them every month.
With a fixed set of questions, run on a schedule across the engines, recording whether you are named, cited or recommended and which sources are used. We add AI referral traffic from Google Analytics, Search Console and Bing data, and the share of answers that describe you correctly. Because answers vary, each question is run more than once and we report ranges.
It is quick to add and some AI tools read it, but no major answer engine has said it uses llms.txt to choose sources. We treat it as housekeeping, not a strategy, and spend the effort on crawler access, clear facts and pages worth citing.
Yes. The method is the same everywhere; the sources differ. Assistants describing a business in Nepal lean on a small set of local directories, news sites and English-language profiles that are often out of date, so correcting those is usually the first job. We work with Nepal businesses from our studio in Kathmandu and with clients abroad remotely.
Yes. We run search and answer-engine work for a US press-release distribution platform, and we can work under your brand for your clients. For PR teams, releases and coverage can be written so assistants quote them, and the citations they earn can be measured.
It depends on how many markets and questions we track, how much needs fixing, and whether your team or ours makes the changes. An initial audit is scoped as a fixed project; ongoing work is scoped as a defined monthly engagement.
